Workplace Health and Safety

Tesori del Matese s.r.l. considers the health and safety of its employees as a fundamental value and one of the main objectives to be pursued during work activities. Therefore, our commitment is focused on:

  • maintaining an active role of Management and all Supervisors in promoting continuous improvement;
  • ensuring the involvement, motivation, and participation of all employees for full sharing of the company’s policy and objectives, by developing the necessary skills in a team-based approach;
  • electing employees, consultants, and suppliers according to the principles of this Policy, requiring them to maintain behaviors that are consistent with and aligned to the requirements of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System;
  • strictly complying with the applicable legislation on Occupational Health and Safety;
  • identifying, assessing, and preventing any possible hazardous condition or situation;
  • preventing accidents and allocating adequate resources to reduce the severity and frequency rates; should an accident occur, appropriate investigations will be initiated to identify the causes and prevent similar situations from recurring in the future;
  • promoting continuous improvement of performance in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, also through the adoption and effective implementation of an organizational model developed in accordance with the requirements of the UNI INAIL Guidelines;
  • ensuring a healthy and safe working environment through appropriate interventions to maintain facilities and equipment in constant efficiency, as well as periodic monitoring of personal exposure to risk factors;
  • paying particular attention to activities entrusted to suppliers, selecting partners who respect quality and safety standards consistent with our own and compliant with current legislation, and requiring the application of this policy to all suppliers;
  • applying the most modern standards and the most advanced technologies available in the sector to processes and equipment;
  • providing continuous training and information to human resources, to ensure that all personnel understand that each individual’s behavior directly affects their own and others’ safety, and to involve workers in the processes for improving overall company safety levels;
  • making available, where necessary, adequate personal and collective protective equipment, while also supervising their use and raising staff awareness of the need for their correct use.

Managers and supervisors will exercise their leadership through continuous monitoring of workers’ behavior, their working conditions, and compliance with the established safety rules.

With the conviction that responsibilities regarding Occupational Health and Safety must be shared throughout the entire company structure, and in order to give broad visibility to the principles outlined above, we are committed to disseminating our policy internally, to company personnel, and externally, to all individuals working on behalf of the company. Furthermore, to ensure that our policy is always appropriate to the company’s reality, we are committed to its periodic review.
